I've spent my whole life in North Carolina, and my whole career in accounting. That's not a coincidence. Both take patience. Both reward the people who show up the same way every day.
I started my career at a public accounting firm in Burlington shortly after graduating from Elon University, where I later returned to earn my MBA. For more than two decades, I worked alongside a team of CPAs preparing taxes, leading advisory engagements, and serving the kind of business owners who built the Carolinas quietly and well.
In 2026, I decided it was time to do this on my own terms. KHS Accounting & Advisory is the result. It's named for my family, because that's who this is really for, and because that's the standard I want every client to feel: treated like family, with the kind of attention and honesty you'd give someone you actually care about.
